The Rock lives for Jesus as a community within the community, our heart beat is loving people, and seeing lives transformed to live in the reality of Gods Kingdom. There are many people in Australia and in fact worldwide that call themselves Christian, they identify themselves as being Christian either by the family they belong to or by the organization they may attend on the odd occasion.
Jesus claimed that the way we will know that we are Christians, that is like Christ is when we are born again, that is by birth by the spirit.
John 3:3-7 "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again... Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'"
To be Christ like as the scripture intends and illustrates is the essence of our passion and pursuit at COTR.

Our Beginnings
The Rock began in 2001 under the direction of Pastor Royce Franklin, Royce heard the call of God to pioneer a new church in the community of Werrington Sydney NSW. The Rock began to meet every Sunday with four families in the living room of Pastor Royce and wonderful wife Doris(Doll) it soon grew into a vibrant church community.
In 2004 with Pastors Martin and Georgina the Rock entered a new and exciting season and recently in August 2008 the Rock moved into it's new location and building. The Rock is alive and growing with an emphasis on Shepherding our community.
